Thanksgiving Day and A MILESTONE!

Noah had a very cute outfit for Thanksgiving day. Here he is showing it off! (thanks to Aunti Ashley for the Oh-So-Stylish Sweater Vest!)

I hosted Thanksgiving this year. It was so much fun with all the family, just exactly what I am thankful for! (all my wonderful family)

Noah got to play and play...

He had a bath and Naked tummy time...Thunder Thighs!

So after a very full house with all the loved ones constantly playing with Noah...he slept and slept and slept! Noah slept for 11 hours straight! Can you believe it? 10 weeks today and I am praying for another night like last night!!!

Thank you Noah.

Noah's 2 months!

Last Wednesday Noah had his 2month check up. He was 11 pounds and 23 3/4 inches long. His wonderful Pediatrician gave Eric and I a hug and a high five while congratulating us on our parenting with Noah, Dr. Shannon told us "Job well done, you have a very healthy and happy baby."

He is in the 75th percentile for length, 18th percentile for weight, and a whopping 90th percentile for head circumference! Ha ha. Dr. Shannon said he has lots of brains like his father.

Our family is doing great these days, we have settled in to our routine and can say that this life is so amazing, fun, rewarding and full of happiness.

Below is a video compilation of clips from Noah's first 2 months at home with us. Enjoy!

Noah's day

Mr bean burrito woke this morning at 7am like usual.
Noah spent quality time with Duke, his very best buddy
(Where's Waldo?)

After spending all day at Nana and Papa's house, we went to the beach with Kim and Jared

I feel so bad, this is the only picture of Noah I took. Jared was so cute, loud and loved the camera!

Then came bedtime.
I did our normal routine. Feeding, then bath time, then massage and put him in his PJ's. I sat him down for a second on the couch...and wide eyed he looked at me with a look that showed no sign of being tired. Good thing he likes hanging in his crib awake because I am going to bed either way Mr. Noah (aka Bean)

Nana and Papa

I love this picture. Noah is in love with his Nana and Papa. I think you can tell by their faces that Nana and Papa are just as much in LOVE with him!

Slideshow of Noah's Newborn Pohotos

All in a days work

Noah's busy days!

He eats, he burps, he spends as much time with Nana as he wants

Plays in his swing (his favorite), or at least the mobile that hangs above it

Gets a diaper change (often!)

Spends time on his tummy.

Tummy time usually turns into nap time

Then we start all over again.

Little Chili Pepper

This was Halloween Night. We spent some time at my sister Brandi's with her sister-in-law Ashley, Husband Dave and their son Nicholas. Nick was a bear. Our little one's had no clue what was going on...but it was cute!

My little chili pepper. He was so "hot" he passed out as soon as the costume went on.

Happy Halloween!

Poor Noah didn't like being a chili pepper.
Maybe next year he will fit in a costume.

Don't you love Eric in his costume. SEXY! Ha ha!

The One's He Loves

Noah is spending lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa McCoy. He loves them so much he always sleeps so well when they cuddle him. He doesn't yet realize his future best friend is the one he is most weary about...DUKE.

I love bath time!

Every night Noah gets his bath around 8:30. He loves to kick his legs and lick the water. I wonder if that means he will be a swimmer? Either way, Mom and Dad enjoy the special time with him when he is happy and playful.

Thumb Sucker!!!

Well, Noah loves to nap on his stomach in the mornings. And for the past few weeks we have seen him try and try to get his thumb in his mouth...with few successful attempts. Today, he was so quick about it. He looked like a pro. Now he only has to figure out how to get it out of his mouth with out getting mad and crying.

Crazy thing called MOM and DAD

This new roll we have as Parents, being Mom and Dad, it is the best thing that could ever happen in life. People try to tell you how amazing it is and how life will never be the same...but in a good way. But until you are there; you could never truly understand. I thought I knew what I would feel, but it is a thousand times what I expected. It is such a joy. Every moment we share, even when it is calming a fussy baby, it is wonderful.

Thank you Noah. Thank you Jesus for Noah!!!

Noah didn't enjoy his first bath at home...but he loves them now!

OK, that is it, I'm melted. How can life get better then that face? How?
Shhhhh! It's nap time.

Noah Michael McCoy

Welcome Baby Noah!
Friday September 19th, 2008
8:05am - 7lbs 8oz - 19.5 in long

How in the world can anyone have a baby and not believe in GOD? Wow, this tiny (in size) blessing is the most amazing creation ever imaginable! Noah is such a delicate and beautiful little man. Eric and I cannot stop staring at him. Truly, we agree that life can't get any better.

The surgery was something a little too much to handle. It was an out of body experience at the least. I remember when they held Noah up for me to see I thought..."what a cute baby, who's baby is that?" It took a couple hours to feel real.

After 3 nights in the hospital, we are finally settled at home. Noah is healthy. He is eating well and sleeping as well as expected...maybe better. The two tough nights we've had, are nothing to complain about. Who needs sleep anyways? My favorite part of all this excitement is seeing how easily Eric has taken to being a father. He is everything any wife would hope for and every child needs in a DADDY!

We are working on a slide show to post shortly. Thank you everyone for your prayers, cards, flowers, gifts...we are so grateful for our friends and families who have been such an amazing support!

39 Weeks

Today is the very last day of being a couple. We will officially become a family tomorrow morning. We have always considered us a family...especially with our baby Duke McCoy, A.K.A. the cutest Chocolate Lab in the world. Anyways, today is so strange! After weeks of being miserable, tired, in pain and just praying for the baby to hurry and come out, I feel so different today. Now I want to be pregnant for a while longer. I want my baby to stay safe and protected in it's womb. I have fears that the baby isn't "ready" or strong enough to come out. This is all probably normal when you know the exact time you will be delivering.

I just hope Eric and I can relax today and sleep tonight. We plan on seeing a movie together today in attempts to do nothing but relax...maybe take a nap. But I just hate those darn things!

OK...here it goes...

Our next post will be the official delivery update of BABY MCCOY!

We love you all,

Eric, Lindsay and Duke McCoy
